A loan helped to buy liquid foundation, eyeshadow, lipstick, scissors, combs, nail polish, and dye, among other products.

Migdalia Maribel's story

Migdalia Maribel and her family live in Portoviejo, a city that was affected by the earthquake on April 16, 2016 and now by the Covid-19 pandemic. The city is rich in the production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruits for internal consumption.

Migdalia Maribel has a space in her house where she has a small beauty salon. There, she cuts and dyes hair, paints nails, and applies makeup. When her clients request her services, she also goes to their homes. She works every day. At the beginning, the social isolation kept her from working for fear of contagion and various restrictions that kept her from going out to work, but now she is serving clients with the bio-security protocols.

This loan is for the purchase of liquid foundation, eyeshadow, lipstick, scissors, combs, nail polish, and dye, among other products. Her dream is to have a larger business and for her family to have very good health.
