Itabaza Cb Group's story

Greetings from Rwanda! Itabaza Cb is a group of entrepreneurs who own businesses varying from food production to retail. The group’s name translates as “the light” in English.

Claudine is the group’s proud representative. She is 43 years old and a mother of five children aged between seven and fifteen years.

For the past ten years Claudine has owned a shop in her community. With her portion of this loan she will buy items such as sugar, salt and soap to meet customer demand. She hopes that with the profits from her business she can buy some livestock. She thanks you for your support.

(Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members but was able to photograph one representative.)
