A loan helped a member to buy a refrigerator and a stove.

La Sociedad Group's story

In the photo, from the left is Tatiana, in a black jacket; Milan, in a black jacket and red top; and Carmen, in a black sweater and blue hat.

Milán is a determined woman whose partner died when she was very young; she had four children with him. They had a business selling clothing and sneakers, which provided for her children, who now are adults. Milán suffered very much from the loss of her partner. She had to get her children ahead on her own. After some years, she met her new partner, with whom she has two young children, ages 6 and 3 years.

Now she has a business selling breakfasts. At first, she sold as a street vendor from a cart. Thanks to God, now she has managed to rent a stall in the market where she can shelter her children, who accompany her, from the cold and the sun. Thus she is able to get her family ahead.

This loan is to buy a refrigerator, portable stove, and supplies.

There are only three people in the photo due to social distancing and bio-security measures, due to the worldwide pandemic being experienced.

In this group: Tatiana Maria, Rosalia, Juan Pablo, Carlos Juaquin, Milan , Juan Carlos, Juan Carlos , Carmen Gabriela
