A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase the volume of milk she sells.

Kulipa's story

This wonderful lady is Kulipa. She is 53 years old, married with children. She has a high school education, and she has a kind and caring heart. Her family's main source of income has been raising cattle and growing crops since 1989. Thanks to her hard work, today Kulipa has 4 cows, 10 sheep, and 2.48 hectares where she grows organic beans. She has an agreement with a local factory to sell her organic milk to them for further dairy processing. This enables her to continuously reinvest in the farm.
When Kulipa learned that she can get a loan from Bai Tushum Bank backed by her future contract with the factory, she asked for a loan of 200,000 KGS. This helps her buy more dairy cows and increase her sales volume of organic milk. The factory's payment will come directly to her bank account, with her loan repayments automatically deducted to Kiva. The earnings from this loan will help Kulipa further improve her farm.
