A loan helped a member to buy supplies.

Fortaleza Alalay Group's story

Arminda, 29, is married and has a five-year-old daughter.

She has worked in sewing and tailoring garments to order for a year. She learned this work thanks to the support of her husband, who encouraged her, because previously she sold clothing but it wasn't going very well for her.

She's requesting the loan to buy supplies for her work: fabric, thread, ribbons, zippers, and others. With this material she plans to produce garments as a display of her work so she can improve her sales.

In time she hopes to grow her business and be able to improve her family's situation, buy a decent house, live well.

Because of the pandemic, only the members of the board of directors are in the photo.

In this group: Arminda, Daniela, Alvaro, Maria Del Carmen, Leticia, Filadelfia, Jose Dolores, Jazmin Briguetty
