A loan helped a member to buy beverages from Bralima and Brasimba and boost her initial capital.

Puit De Jacob Group's story

Madam Berasira is a client with MFI Hekima and the president of village group "Puit de Jacob". She is 67 years old, married and the mother of twelve children including one attending school and eleven who graduated. Her partner is a shopkeeper.
She sells beverages, a business she started 47 years ago with seed money obtained from her husband. Subsequently, she turned to Hekima to support her business which developed gradually. With this new loan, she will buy beverages from Bralima and Brasimba and boost her initial capital. Her business challenges are linked to the lack of customers.
She would like to be able feed her family. Finally, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for their support to non bankable business owners in this global crises caused by Covid-19. Only the group's leader is pictured on the photo, due to Covid-19 and to observe social distancing guidelines.
