Bwagonga Abamwe, Ibanda Group's story

Lydia T. is a hardworking and ever optimistic 29-year-old married mother of three children aged between 3 and 8 years. She operates a growing produce business in the Bwagoga Trading Centre in Ibanda, dealing in dry food and cereals. With a business longevity span of eight years, Lydia has managed to significantly sustain and improve on her family’s welfare status through her contributions to paying the school dues for her children and more.

To all appearances, her future business prospects look rosy, with close to 50,000 Ugandan shillings coming in monthly out of her business. She envisions an even greater profit margin as she gets this loan, anticipating being in position to buy more stock for the business. This will enable her business to expand and also enable her to earn more revenue and live a self-sustaining life.
