Abudu's story

Abudu is 47 years, a resident of Kisozi village, Budondo in Jinja District. He is a married man with seven children and four of them go to school.

He is a farmer dealing mainly in sugarcane growing business. Of recent sugar cane business has collapsed in Busoga region and therefore, he has diversified by buying a mobile machine that processes sugar cane into molasses that are sold to farmers and local brewers.

He has been in this business since 2009 and he has been able to educate his children.

He approached UGAFODE for a loan facility of UGX 3,000,000 so that he can return his children back to school following the recent ease of lock down in schools.
