A loan helped to purchase inventory in large quantities for his food store business.

Emmanuel's story

Emmanuel is an evolved entrepreneur with a wide number of clients that support his various businesses every day. He is originally from Congo but he came to Rwanda due to instabilities back home. His status as a refugee did not stop him from pursuing his dream of owning a business.

He runs a big grocery store and a bakery. He is an honest borrower who was able to fully pay all his previous loans. The loans helped him double his stock and purchase five motorcycles to carry his products and provide transportation services. With all this growth, Emmanuel wanted to give back to the community where he has 10 fellow refugee employees where four of them are women who work in the bakery.

He is requesting another loan so that he can buy a truck to help him carry his huge stock of goods and reduce transport expenses. He is also planning to hire one additional employee to drive the truck.

This loan is special because:

It helps refugees launch businesses to rebuild their lives.
