Hourn T., 32, is married and lives with her husband and three children in Takeo Province, Cambodia, an area known for its pre-Angkorean temples.
T. and her husband weave Cambodian traditional silk for an income of USD 4 each per day to help cover the family expenses. T. is requesting a loan of USD 600 to purchase cows to raise for resale.
In the future, T. would like to use any additional profit to support her children’s study. This is her first loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner in Cambodia.
KREDIT Microfinance Institution Plc., is one of Kiva’s most established partners in Southeast Asia.
