7 De Marzo Group's story

The 7 de Marzo [March 7] communal bank is a group that was formed based on the positive experiences of groups nearby that motivated them to form their own communal bank. The group has 18 members, all of whom have very high expectations for the teamwork they have been doing. They are enterprising women with a desire to better themselves and a yearning to get ahead.

One of them, Eulalia, prepares fast food and sweets. She is very good at what she does. Her goal is to be able to continue to help her family. It is for them that she looks for ways to grow and improve. One way to do that is through her group. That is why they actively participate in the group.

Eulalia is asking for this loan in order to purchase basic ingredients to prepare her products, such as flour, eggs, butter, vegetables, meats, condiments and other items.

Please note: Only one person appears in the photo although this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo because of the need to avoid crowds of people due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In this group: Mariza, Eulalia, Nidia, Benita, Myriam, Liz, Gertrudis, Sabina, Ramona, Mirta, Amelia, Gloria, María, Vidalia, Carmen, Francisca, Romelia
