A loan of $725 helped purchase merchandise for her store.

Antonia's story

Antonia is 50 years old, widowed, and has two daughters who are independent. She lives in the village of Tranca Sasape, a rural area in the district of Mórrope. This community is part of a central town where many businesses are located. The nearby villages are quite distant from one another and most of the residents are farmers who live under modest conditions. This area is part of Lambayeque province and located more than an hour and a half away from the city of Chiclayo.

Antonia earns a living by selling basic necessities and groceries from a store established in her home. This business is not only useful to her, but also to her neighbors since she lives in an area outsiD. of the central part of town. Her neighbors do not have enough money to travel that far every day to buy their products.

She also raises small animals at home and sells them in order to earn income. When the animals are fully developed, she offers them for sale to merchants who visit the area.

Antonia wants to expand her store by acquiring more products to sell to her customers. For this reason, she is requesting her first loan from Edpyme Alternativa in the amount of 2000 PEN to help accomplish this goal. She is a woman who works hard day after day in order to get ahead.
