Elizabeth is a client of the Hekima microfinance institution and the head of the village group « Zamiri». She is married, aged 37 years and the mother of 7 children, 6 of whom are at school and 1 baby. Her partner is unemployed.

She sells salted fish and started this business 2 years ago with the start up funds received from her husband. Later she joined the Hekima programme to support her business and during this time she progressively evolved.

With this new loan, she will purchase stocks of salted fish, to strengthen her initial capital. The challenge facing her activity is linked to the lack of customers.

She would like for her children to continue their studies and to be able to feed her family. Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they give to business owners who do not have cash flow in the context of the crisis linked to covid-19.
