A loan of $375 helped expenses for the installation of restroom services at her home.

Esperanza's story

Esperanza is a 44 year old mother who lives with her two children in the Callanca section of the Monsefú district, a district known for its tourist and religious festivities and also for its crafts of wood, clay and reed. It is located a half hour from the city of Chiclayo.

She makes a living selling vegetables wholesale and retail at a stand at the Los Pathos market, a major market in the city of Chiclayo. She obtains her merchandise from the distributors very early at their supply center and later offers the products to her customers, mainly sales people from small markets. She has become known in her trade thanks to the good service that she provides her customers.

Esperanza wants to improve her quality of life and therefore finds it necessary to make some improvements to her house, such as the installation of restroom facilities, which will allow her to have basic services. To achieve her goal she is requesting a loan of 1000 new soles from Edpyme Alternativa.

Esperanza is an honest and very hard working woman. She has previously worked with our institution and has demonstrated punctuality and responsibility from the moment she takes over the installments.
