Los Olivos Group's story

The Los Olivos (The Olives) Communal Bank has initiated its 7th loan cycle with 18 members, all from the Barrio D. Los Olivos. For the 3rd time, Lis is the president of the Communal Bank. She lives with a partner and has a 3 year old son. While Lis has been president, she has learned to be punctual and responsible.

Lis lives in her in-laws' house where she has a grocery store and sells meat and vegetables, an activity she does every day. Lis also sells cosmetics by catalog, which she offers to friends and family. In addition, Lis and her partner have a car that provides them with transport to the jungle of Ayacucho. Lis is requesting a loan to buy rice, cooking oil, and tuna.

Lis's dreams are to expand her store, and to open a shoe and clothing store.
