A loan helped to expand her current business in selling charcoal by buying more quantities of charcoal and bags.

Aida's story

Aida is a 61-year-old Jordanian married woman with three children. She and her husband started their own business selling charcoal. However, she dreams of increasing her family's income as well as rebuilding her house that was wrecked earlier.

She is thinking of expanding her business by buying more charcoal as well as bags to store the charcoal. So Aida thought that a loan of 500 JOD will be a great help to get all that is needed for the business. She is a very ambitious woman, and she aspires to buy a truck to sell even more quantities of charcoal.

This loan is special because:

It empowers the most vulnerable and marginalized women in Jordan.
