A loan of $200 helped working capital.

Anala Luisa's story

Alma Luisa, age 37, is a single mother with two children under her care. Both of the children are in high school.

Alma makes tortillas and sells them in an itinerant manner. The people who already know her come to her house to buy her products. She also sells used clothes, which she distributes in an itinerant manner. She started ten years ago because she did not have work, and she needed a source of income to support her children. With much effort she has been able to support them.

She will use this loan to buy corn, which is very important in order to make tortillas.

Her dream has always been to be able to build a house with the profits from her business. She currently lives in her mother’s house.
