A loan of $725 helped purchase merchandise to stock shop.

Rosa's story

Rosa, 42, is a hard-working and loving mother. She lives in her own home together with her husband Alejandro, 45, and their 3 adored children, to whom she wants to give a better future. When she was very small Rosa learned to work the land, as agricultural work has been in her family for many year. This activity gave her the necessary capital to establish her shop, which is giving her excellent earnings as there aren't many shops in her village, and little by little it has become her principle activity. What Rosa likes most about her job is the communication she has with her neighbours who come in to her establishment to purchase something. 5 years have passed this way, during which time she has weighed up that to have what she has achieved she has to sacrifice things and remain in her shop all day. With time Rosa hopes to expand her shop's facilities to provide better comfort to her customers. This is her seventh loan with MFP and she feels that it contributes beneficially, as little by little she will be able to improve her life. Within her communal bank Rosa is a very responsible member and has always been attentive to her payments. With the 2000 nuevos soles that she is seeking she will purchase more products to supply her shop.
