A loan helped to buy beans, sugar, maize, flour and cooking oil for her grocery store.

Laurence's story

Laurence is a 41-year-old mother of seven children who are aged between 2 and 20 years old. She has owned a grocery story for the past eight years.

Laurence will use her loan to buy more beans, sugar, maize, flour and cooking oil so that she can meet the demands of her customers in the community. With the profits from her sales, she will be able to provide for her family and set aside some savings as well as be able to expand her business within her community.

Laurence is grateful for the support of the lenders.

This loan is special because:

It provides training, savings accounts and loans to Rwandan entrepreneurs unserved by the formal banking sector.
