A loan of $475 helps to support Danson to buy fertilizers and cultivate the land.

Danson's story

Danson, 25, is a happily married man who is blessed with one child. He has grown up with farming and now enjoys doing it for a living and the profits it brings him. He loves his work, as it gives him opportunities to learn and improve on methods which can make his farming better. His dream is to one day own greenhouses for different products. This will create job opportunities especially to youths who are looking for jobs to empower them. This being his first Kiva loan of Ksh 50,000, Danson wants to use it in purchasing farm inputs and other farming products for his farming business. He will then use the profits earned to repay the loan on time.

This loan is special because:

It gives financial access to low income micro-entrepreneurs.
