Momajon's story

Momajon is shown in this photograph. She is 56 years old and she lives with her family in the Vakhsh region. She is the mother of 4 children. Momajon has been raising livestock for more than 20 years. She wants to expand her livestock business by increasing her head of livestock. Momajon buys cattle from the animal market and fattens them up for 40-60 days, at which point she resells them at the animal market. Her son helps her with this work.

She does not have enough money to buy cattle, so she has asked for a loan. It will help her move forward and expand her small business.
