A loan of $850 helps to buy fertilizer and compost.

Wilfredo's story

Wilfredo lives in the village of El Guisal with his family. He works in coffee farming, obtaining his main income from it.

He grows high quality coffee because he provides it with enough care to later sell it at an excellent price. He is very responsible with his crops and he likes to provide them with excellent maintenance.

He is asking for the loan to buy fertilizer and compost for his crops so that he can achieve a good yield.

He is very happy with the kindness and good treatment that he has received from Prisma and Kiva and he is very grateful for the support he has received.

His dream is to have a good yield.

This loan is special because:

It has a below-market interest rate and is repaid at harvest, when farmers can more easily repay.
