A loan of $1,025 helped purchase oil, beans, rice, sugar, coffee, and powdered milk.

Humberto's story

Humberto is 60 years old and resides with his wife in the town of Concepción Batres, Department of Usulután. They have two children. Humberto sells basic necessities at his business named “Tienda Hernández”.

He started this business with the help of his sister who taught him and gave him the necessary equipment to maintain his store. Humberto operates his business from 7am until 6pm. He currently needs a loan to invest in the purchase of merchandise (oil, beans, rice, sugar, coffee, and powdered milk) so that he can satisfy the demands of his customers. The loan will allow him to expand his product lines, increase his sales, and generate more income since his sales have dropped.

Humberto dreams of expanding his business, meeting his basic needs, and improving the quality of life for his family.
