A loan helped a member to buy animals to resell, with the goal of caring for their children.

Nietasso Group's story

Niele has her hand on the sheep [in the photo]. She is from Mali. She is alone in the photo because of COVID-19. She is age 42, is not able to read and is a married mother of five children ages two to 18. Two of her boys are in school, as are two of her daughters. One is not yet of school age.

She is involved in raising sheep and has been for more than three years. She buys sheep at the local market and raises them for eight to 10 months. She resells them at the same market. Thanks to her business, she has been able to take over a part of her family's expenses.

To increase her sales in order to have more profit, she is seeking a loan from RMCR. The price of livestock, as well as the feed, is excessive at the market. Her dream is to ensure she can provide the school fees and clothing for her children.
