A loan helped to buy dairy cows in order to increase her volume of milk sales.

Gulira's story

This lovely lady is Gulira. She is 44 years old and married, and her children are adults. She has secondary education. In her nature she is empathetic and kindhearted. As the primary source of income for her family, she has been practicing animal husbandry and plant agriculture since 1996. Thanks to Gulira's hard work and her husband's help, her farm currently has 3 cows, 10 sheep and 1.4 hectares of irrigated land on which she grows organic beans. She has an agreement for the delivery of organic milk to a local factory for further processing into dairy products. This allows her to constantly invest into her agricultural business. Through Bai Tushum bank, she can receive a loan on the security of her contract for further delivery, under their "Chain of Value Added" service. Having discovered this, she has turned to them for a loan in the amount of 250,000 somoni (KGS). This will be used to purchase dairy cows in order to increase her volume of milk sales. Payments for the milk from the factory will be directly transferred to Gulira's bank account, and loan payments will be automatically deducted. The profits from the loan will help her further develop her farm.
