Memunatu's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 47-year-old Memunatu from Dwazark branch. She is married with three children between the ages of 3 and 13 years old, and all are currently attending school.

Memunatu runs a retail table business and sells cookery and other assorted items to her customers around the community. She started this business because she wants to take care of her family. Her other source of income is from her husband. She has been in this business for the past 5 years. Memunatu says her business is going well without any challenges.

She requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more food stuffs, such as oil, groundnut, rice, and other assorted items, to increase her business. Memunatu says that the extra income from this loan will help her to take care of her family and to increase her business.

In the future, Memunatu would like to expand to a large scale. She says thanks to BRAC and Kiva for their support.
