A loan helped to buy balls of yarn and dye and also to save money to care for her children.

Madjima's story

Madjima is a mother of two children, one of whom goes to school, and she also has caregiving responsibilities for one individual.

She has been weaving traditional quality cloths from her home for four years. She lives in a neighborhood on the outskirts of the capital.

She is in her fifth loan cycle with Yikri and has repaid her first loan without difficulty. She is applying for a new loan to buy balls of yarn and dye to weave enough traditional cloths to meet the demand of her customers.

She plans to use her profits to invest in her business and build up savings to take care of her children. She invites everyone to protect themselves from the Covid-19 virus.
