Edgar Duberly's story

Edgar Duberly V. A. is 28 years old. He is married and lives with his wife and 3 children, Jasón (7), Andrea (3) and Katy (1), in the canton of Guaranda in the Bolívar province.

Edgar is a member of the rural communal bank Patrón San Juan. It is located half an hour from Guaranda. There are 16 members total and the majority of them grow potatoes and corn. This is their first loan with the San José Cooperative.

Edgar grows potatoes for a living. He makes his purchases weekly and sells every 3 or 4 months in Guaranda.

He is requesting a loan to buy seeds, manure and fertilizer. His dream is to have something more, such as land or a house, and a few more cows. He has had to deal with crop disease.

He likes to play volleyball.
