A loan helped a rural woman to pay for the needed expenses of her family lands, so she will have a good harvest and provide a good income.

Monika's story

Monika is a 44 years old woman from southeast Albania. She is married and happy mother of two children, a 22 years old daughter and a 18 years old son. Her family is all engaged in agricultural activities for the moment, since it is planting season and they are trying to prepare all their family lands for planting. Monika is hoping for the first time for a loan, so she will be able to pay for the needed expenses for working and fertilizing her family lands, so she will have a good harvest and provide a good income for her family.

Monika's husband emigrates time after time in Greece to make an extra income for his family, but due to Covid19's restriction he has not been able to travel, for this they lack the needed capital to invest before the spring season in their agricultural activity.

Monika thanks you all for the support given and wishes all the best to all Kiva lenders.
