03_Wakily Ebinako Group's story

This group is composed of five women keeping up strong ties and living in the same town. The women jumped at the chance to join a women’s group set up in March 2021. They are actively mainly in the commerce of selling general goods.

Ms. Khady, who appears in the photo, is the group's representative. She is married, 42 years old, and the mother of five children, including two daughters. She has been doing commerce in palm oil and lemon juice for several years.

With this loan, she envisions adding to her supplies that she is going to sell in town and in Dakar. The earnings will be used to help out her husband in covering day-to-day expenses, as well as the costs of education and healthcare for the children.

Ce groupe est composé de 05 femmes qui entretiennent des relations fortes et vivent dans la même localité. Elles ont saisi l’opportunité d’adhérer au groupement féminin lors de son implantation en mars 2021. Elles s’activent principalement dans le commerce de produits divers. Madame Khady, qui est sur la photo, est la représentante du groupe. Elle est mariée, âgée de 42 ans et mère de 05 enfants dont 02 filles. Elle est dans le commerce d'huile de palme et de jus de citrons depuis plusieurs années. Avec ce crédit, elle envisage d’augmenter sa quantité d’approvisionnement qu’elle va écouler au marché de sa localité et à Dakar. Les bénéfices serviront à aider son mari à prendre en charge des dépenses quotidiennes mais aussi à l’éducation et à la santé des enfants.

Compte tenu de la pandémie nous avons pris une seule femme en photo pour respecter la distanciation physique édictée par l'autorité locale.
