A loan of $775 helped a member to purchase construction tools.

Hajran's Group's story

Hajran has lived all of her life in a city called Chichawanti in Pakistan. Her husband, M. S., is a daily wage laborer.

She is the mother of seven children; five sons and two daughters. One of her sons is a laborer. Others are getting education at a local school. The elder son has a stall in the market selling biryani (a Punjabi rice dish famous in Pakistan).

Hajran has applied for a loan from Asasah to invest in her husband’s work. With the loan, he will buy construction tools. Presently, he rents his tools and pays the rent from the earnings.
