Mavis's story

Mavis is a 31-year-old woman who is a single mother of one child and they live in a community in Honiara, the capital of Solomon Island.

She wants to start a food marketing business selling cooked foods and cold drinks at the food market to earn a living.

She has requested a loan to pay for additional flour, cooking oil, sugar, yeast and trays to assist her start up her business.

She will use her profits to meet her family's weekly expenses and improve her business.

She joined SPBD in 2021.
