A loan helped to buy fabric for women, fabric for trousers, a sewing machine, denim, buttons, hooks, elastic, etc.

Maritza's story

Maritza is a 73-year-old microbusiness owner living in the city of Barranquilla. She runs a business providing services making dresses, trousers, skirts, blouses, shirts and t-shirts, and tailoring and fixing items of clothing. Her sales have been affected by the pandemic, and so has her income. As the economy revives, her sales are increasing, so she is trying to mitigate the impact of Covid-19 and is now using a Kiva loan, her first funding from the Fundación Santo Domingo, to invest in buying fabric for women, fabric for trousers, a sewing machine, denim, buttons, hooks, elastic, etc. Support her business loan; it will be a success.
