This group of brave women comes from the Banc Villageois which has existed since September 2013. They have walked together for a long time because they live in the same village and share strong values of kinship and solidarity. Their main activity is trade.
Madame Astou 36 years old is the representative, on the far left and raising her hand, she is married and the mother of five children, two of them male, who are in school.
Astou is in the business of selling food products, she buys wholesale and resells in her local market. She is successful in this sector where she has been working for 6 years.
She plans to buy palm oil, andiroba oil (touloucouna), honey. She works in collaboration with her husband at the market.
The profits obtained are used to increase the level of her savings, to pay for her children's schooling and to manage her expenses.
