01_Mossane Fadiouth Group's story

This group of sixteen women is part of a Banc Villageois set up in April 2010; they are very brave and have repaid more than 10 loans within good time. Their main activities are in agriculture and commerce.
Madame Sophie 66 years old is the representative, on the right in the photo and with a raised hand. She is married and the mother of five children, four girls and a boy who go to school.
Madame Sophie leads a small business activity in various fishery products (fish, dried oyster, shrimp etc.) She gets her supplies wholesale from large traders and resells in other regions. She capitalizes on her good experience of more than 10 years.
With her credit she will buy baskets of dried and smoked fish, shrimps, oysters and pay for transport. She manages her activity and is doing well.
Her profits allow her to strengthen her savings and pay for her children's schooling.

In this group: Sophie, Thérèse, Marie Tédène, Maïmouna, Coura, Agnès, Rosalie, Marie Agnès, Thérèse, Anna Dib, Marième, Marie Odile, Rose, Awa, Thérèse Véronique, Louise Elisabeth
