A loan of $575 helps to buy pants, dresses, blouses, shoes and other items of clothing.

Juleisy Genesis's story

Juleisy Genesis and her family live in Los Bajos de Montecristi, Ecuador, a place with humble people who work in agriculture and who have been greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Juleisy is a hard-working woman who looks for ways to earn a living. She is achieving that goal thanks to the previous KIVA loan that is helping her out very much. She works selling clothing and shoes, and she makes her sales door to door. In her home she also counts on customers to whom she makes regular sales. She sells on credit and charges customers every week. In this way she is improving the economic situation of her family despite the fear that she continues to feel about getting sick from the virus.

This loan will be used to buy pants, dresses, blouses, shoes and other items of clothing.
