A loan helped a member to buy animals for resale to meet his family's needs.

Siguitemogoson Group's story

This is the group's president, Malick. He is 42 years old and is married with five children, aged between 3 and 14, one of whom goes to school. His wife also rears livestock to care for their family.

Malick has been rearing sheep for 11 years. He purchases from and resells at local fairs. He can potentially earn 20,000-25,000 CFA in profit from each animal. With animal sales he manages to feed his family and pay for his children's medical costs. He has three sheep which he looks after with veterinary care. He is a generous person and has a good reputation in his village.

Malik would like to have a more substantial loan to grow his livestock activity.

In this group: Malick, Diakaridia, Oumar, Moussa, Salif, Souleymane, Seydou
