Stela's story

Stela is a 48-year-old mother living in Kapsowar, a town that was significantly struck by the violent 2007–2008 crisis that occurred in Kenya. She is a responsible mum with with a good credit history who is committed to the future prosperity of her family.

Stela has dedicated herself to practicing crop and dairy farming in her remote village. She works between eight and ten hours a day. Stela does this because she is pursuing her dream of purchasing her own home. She is a very committed mum who perseveres, fights, rises above and does not give up until she reaches her goals.

Stela has always had a liking for dairy farming. She also farms crops, but she has not been making good profits because of poor farming inputs. That is why Stela is seeking a loan to buy high-quality seeds and good fertilizers that she will use to greatly improve her crop production.

Modern farming requires the use of modern techniques, and high-quality seeds will assure her of a bumper harvest and increased profits. Stela is very visionary, and her goal for the season is to boost her crop production over the previous year. Kindly lend to Stella to boost her livelihood.

This loan is special because:
