A loan helped to pay school fees.

Jackson's story

Jackson has requested a loan to pay school fees for his five children. He is married and is currently employed as a health worker in Bundibugyo, Uganda. He earns extra income from his cocoa gardens grown on family land for the past 20 years.

He joined the cocoa-farming business five years ago, but complains of low sales due to cocoa theft, land slides and inability to pay school fees on time. Jackson's future plans are educating his children to higher institutions of learning although he is challenged by unpredictable seasonal changes which leads to income fluctuations.
