A loan helped to buy chickens, corn, balanced feed, and to make adaptations to the chicken coop.

Dayana's story

Dayana is a young woman who is 28 years old. She is single and lives with her parents. She is an enthusiastic woman who, in addition to her employment, works raising chickens. In this way, she helps to contribute to the household and to pay for her personal expenses.

She is requesting a Kiva loan to invest in improving and adapting the chicken coop, as well as for increasing the number of chickens and purchasing feed for raising them.

Dayana aspires to have her own assets and, if possible, to take some kind of quick diploma course.

Translated from Spanish by Kiva volunteer Rita Levitz.
