08-Groupe Hakilimaya's story

This group was set up in June 2017 and comprises five women who live in the same neighbourhood. They are active in the retail trade to improve their living conditions. They have good relationships with each other.

Coumba, aged 35, with her hand raised in the photo, represents the group. She is married and has four children and two others in her care.

With her new loan, she plans to bake and sell; she also sells women's clothes. The profits will be used to help her husband financially and strengthen her business.
