A loan helped a member to buy clothes for women and children which is going to strengthen her initial capital.

La Flore Group's story

Agnes is a client of the microfinance institution Hekima and represents the village group "La Flore". She is 29 years old, single and provides for her uncle's three children. She also covers their education.

Agnes started selling clothes five years ago with her own starting funds. Later, she joined the Hekima program to support her business and it grew progressively. With this new loan, she is going to buy women's and children's clothes, which is going to strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her activity is due to a lack of customers.

Agnes would like to keep her uncle's children in school and to keep growing her business. Finally, she wants to thank Hekima and its partners for their support of non bankable business owners in the context of the global health crisis. The photo only shows the group leader due to social distancing measures.
