Harimah's story

Harimah is a farmer, married to Saidi, with whom she does farming. They are farming together to provide for their relatively large family and educate their eight. Harimah grows onions on a 10-acre piece of land to be able to maximize profit. She also grows other seasonal crops that feed the family in addition to a banana plantation, from which she gets food but also sells for additional income.

Harimah is seeking a loan to buy farm inputs, especially fertilizer and pesticides and also hire labour that will do the weeding, fertilizer and spraying the onions to ensure their good growth and yield.
