This group is comprised of 30 women who have been part of the banc villageois since its creation in August 2006. They all live in the same community and are active in the retail business. They share strong bonds of solidarity.
Madame Mama, by herself in the picture due to the precautions against Covid-19, represents the group. Thirty-seven years old, she is the married mother of 5 children. She has 2 other children in her care. She is active primarily in the sale of vegetables. With this loan, she will buy vegetables to resell for retail. She has a good feel for, and experience in, this business. With the profits she plans to add to her savings and take care of certain expenditures for the family, especially supplies for her children.
