A loan helped to buy farm inputs such as fertilizers that will help improve her farm.

Caroline's story

Caroline (a 36-year-old mom of 4 school-going children) is a mother who is humble, kindhearted, and enterprising. She lives together with her children in a rural area in Sotik. Her children are showing much interest in farming and even accompany their mother to the farm.

Her family’s main source of income is selling milk produced by their dairy animals and growing horticulture products. Caroline also engages in other agricultural activities, all of which are aimed at improving their standard of living.

As the cost of agricultural production in the Kenyan rural area continues to skyrocket, acquiring land and inputs has become a hiccup for many farmers. Caroline is seeking a loan to buy farm inputs such as fertilizers that will help improve her farm. This loan will enable her to improve her farm production. This intervention will help her fill the increasing demand for horticulture products in the market and, in the process, generate more income to repay the loan debt and improve the quality of life for her family.

She hopes to improve the conditions of her house. Help this mother to accomplish all her dreams with just a loan.

This loan is special because:

It finances smallholder farmers to purchase dairy cows, chickens, cereals, farm inputs and farming equipment.
