Jeanne is a 48-year-old mother of seven children who range in age from three to 26 years old. Her husband is a farmer and for the past ten years, she has earned a living by selling foodstuffs.

She is the leader of the group called ABAKORANABUSHAKE TCB, which in English means “people working with willingness” group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Jeanne will use her loan to buy more banana plantains to sell in her community. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to provide for the family and also reinvest in her business.
