A loan helped a member to buy 40 cans of milk and a few eggs.

Grace Group's story

Mrs. Claire is a client of the MFI Hekima and the president of Grace Group. She's 56 years old, a widow and the mother of eight children, who all go to school. She sells milk and eggs, a business she started 20 years ago with startup funds received from her late husband. Later on, she involved Hekima's program to support her business, which enabled her to evolve progressively.

She will use this new loan to buy 40 cans of milk and some eggs, which will strengthen her capital. Her business' main challenge is linked to eggs' breakage during the rainy season. She would like to be able to feed her family and continue sending her children to school.

In the end, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting owners of non bankable businesses in this context of global crisis linked to Covid-19.
