A loan of $625 helps to buy fertilizer, urea, and compost.

Jose Ernesto's story

Don José lives with his family in the community of Santa Fe. He works in agriculture by cultivating coffee as his main source of income. José grows coffee and bananas of good quality and provides adequate maintenance of his crops so that he can sell his output at an excellent price. He is very responsible with his crops and enjoys taking good care of them.

José is requesting a loan to buy fertilizer, urea, and compost for his crops so that he can achieve good production. He is pleased with the friendliness and good service he has received from Prisma and Kiva. In addition, he is grateful for the support he has received.

His dream is to have good production.

This loan is special because:

It has a below-market interest rate and is repaid at harvest, when farmers can more easily repay.
