A loan of $425 helps to buy clothes to sell.

Benard's story

Benard has requested a loan to buy more clothes to sell during the Easter festive season. He is married with three children. He lives in Bundibugyo, Uganda.

He is currently doing both a saloon and selling clothes in the main market. He earns extra income from his cocoa gardens. He joined the clothing business four years ago, but complains of low sales and the inability to pay rental fees on time.

His future plans are to educate his children to high institutions of learning, although he meets difficulty from stiff competition by many hawkers and his cocoa earnings being seasonal.

This loan is special because:

It targets extremely rural populations.
