Robert's story

Robert is a married man with five children who all attend school and he lives in Kagadi, Uganda. His main economic activity is growing of maize, beans and bananas which he supplements with agricultural produce sales.

He has hopes of growing and diversifying his business to include other cash crops given his over seven years experience in farming. He however gets a challenge of thieves stealing his maize and bananas which lowers his production as well as leading to losses.

Robert will use the loan got to buy manure and fertilizers and use the balance to pay workers to clear the bush for the next season so as he will be able to grow more bananas.
